Nurture the drama queen within.
Enroll in a drama class as young as 3 years old.
Drama is experiential. At the most base level, it lets you shake off self-destructive boredom.
Kids learn to express their creativity not only in a safe way, but also in a setting where performative behavior is a standard.
Studies done with children with autism have shown that role-play exercises, improvisation, and character development in a theater play like setting significantly improves social and cognitive skills, including literacy and formal, academic achievement.
I don’t see the opportunities based on my locale.
Since the COVID pandemic, many offerings have been forced online. While it doesn’t seem like that would be good enough, it is more productive than you think!
